Stephen O’Flynn: missed last minute chance.

Holders Institute crashed out of the Coca Cola Intermediate Cup to Championship Two side Armagh City in last night’s semi-final played at Castledawson.

City sealed their place in the final when Lennon headed home a McGerrigan corner from close range in the 85th minute.

Up until then, both sides had chances but ‘Stute keeper  Doherty and his counterpart Horgan were alert to keep the game scoreless.

Stephen O’Flynn had the opportunity to take the game into extra time but he put his header wide of the post after being set up by McCauley in the last minute of the game.

Armagh will now meet the winners of tonight’s other semi-final between Knockbreda and Bangor who play at Seaview (kick off 7.45pm).
