Derry city centre has reopened after an earlier security alert.

Shipquay Street and Shipquay Place have been reopened following a search of the area by police following a telephone bomb warning.
Nothing was found but police have asked members of the public to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious on 0845 600 8000.
Earlier, a number of shops were evacuated and motorists were advised to avoid the area and police asked if anyone noticed any suspicious objects to contact them immediately.
