Models Zara and Gail, aka BFFs Thelma and Louise, are delighted to hear Stena Line have designated May as “Best Friends Forever (BFF) Month” as one of them will get to travel for free.

Ferry company Stena Line have designated May as “Best Friends Forever (BFF) Month.”

And to ensure you make the most of it they are giving anyone who books a ferry trip with their car the chance to bring their BFF with them, for free, on any sailing, all year round!

The company, whose fares start at just £69* single car + driver, has promised that anyone who books car travel by May 26 can take a ‘friend for free’ with them on travel until January 5 2015*!

“As part of BFF month we have launched a special ‘friend for free’ fare, which is sure to make you the most popular person in your house, maybe even the town,” said Stena Line’s Head of Travel, Orla Noonan.

“BFF month is a time to appreciate those who stick by us through thick and thin, who always know the right things to say and who we’re just comfortable being around – making them the perfect travel companion.

“For some of us, our best friend is our partner, sister or parent so take this opportunity to give them a special treat this month.

“Anyone who books travel by May 26 will get to take someone with them for free on any sailing to Britain or France – that means you can make savings of around £60^ per adult on a return crossing and give your bestie a holiday so it’s a win, win!”

Orla added: “We all have a loved one who deserves a break and whoever you decide to take will get to enjoy stress-free travel; no baggage restrictions or charges so you can bring all the comforts of home; no long queues at check-in; plenty of places to explore onboard; cabins to relax in; fabulous dining options; great value meal deals and up to 50% off hundreds of quality lines compared to the High street in the onboard shop.

“As well as all of that, passengers on our Irish Sea routes can catch a free blockbuster in the movie lounge or surf the net with Stena Line’s free WiFi.

“So stop taking your mates for granted and let them know how you feel. Bear hug your bestie, do a favour for your favourite friend, praise them big time and take a trip together. What better way to say Best Friends Forever than by giving them your ‘Friend for Free’ place.

“So email, phone, text or drop by and let your number one pal know they’re off to Britain or France for a wonderful adventure by sea,” concluded Orla.

For more information and to book log onto www.stenaline.co.uk or call Stena Line direct on 08447 70 70 70.

* Book by 26 May and a minimum seven days in advance of travel. Subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply. See website for details. ^Varies by route.
