Job Vacancy: Star Amusements in Buncrana is hiring a Customer Assistant to join their team.

Overview: 

Star Amusements are based in Buncrana, Co. Donegal and are part of an innovative and dynamic Gaming & Casino Company in Ireland.

All roles in Star Amusements exist to ensure great customer experiences. We encourage this environment by welcoming our customers with a smile, providing information on customer benefits and services and complementary tea and coffee. We like to work in a fun, healthy, clean, and organised work environment and we hope you do too.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and guide customers on any queries or questions they might have.
  • Providing cashier services
  • Running in-house promotions
  • Maintaining the general up keep of the premises
  • Assisting in light cleaning duties when required 

Who are you?

  • You should have a natural flair for customer service and an aptitude for numbers. 
  • You should ideally have the ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy whilst being personable and professional at all times. 
  • You will also be expected to communicate any upcoming events or promotions therefore an outgoing personality is a must!

Requirements:

  • 1 year’s retail experience
  • 1 year’s customer service experience
  • 1 year’s cash handling experience
  • Leaving certificate or equivalent

  • The duties mentioned above are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the positions may vary per post or can be subject to change at any time with or without notice.
  • This is a part time role of approx 16-20 hours per week
  • Flexibility is required for day, evening and weekend shifts
