Police in Derry are treating damage caused to a car as a sectarian hate crime.
Slogans were scratched into the paintwork of a parked vehicle in the Waterside area.
The vandalism is believed to have happened at around 1 am on Sunday and was reported to police just after 8 am.
Detectives have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
DUP Foyle MLA Gary Middleton condemned those behind the “disgusting attack”.
Posting to social media, Mr Middleton said there was “no place for intimidation, sectarianism or vandalism within our communities”.
