Vacancies: Britton Insurance require Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Representatives

Britton Insurance, based in Donegal Town, has two positions which they wish to fill.

They include a Personal Lines Representative position and a Commercial Lines Representative position.

Both positions can be full-time or part-time.

Role:

Responsible for assisting clients in obtaining quotes, purchasing suitable policies and proactively developing sales of a variety of commercial business insurances or personal lines products whilst achieving monthly new business targets

Delivering excellent customer service whilst exploring and ensuring that a client understands the terms and extents of cover provided in line with industry regulations

Developing relationships with clients, insurers and co-workers to assist in the continuing growth of a successful commercial book of business.

Requirements:

Have an APA qualification, working towards APA accreditation or grandfathered in Insurance.

Would suit someone looking for a career in financial lines or someone in Personal Lines Insurance looking to change to a Commercial Lines.

Happy to consider someone with no Insurance background if they have a business degree, commercial sales experience or have a financial background and is situated in a commutable distance to Donegal Town.

Confident communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills.

Proficient in a range of information technology tools and platforms.

Attention to detail with impeccable planning, time keeping and organisational skills.

Enjoy multi-tasking at a fast pace with the ability to managing shifting daily priorities.

Demonstrate confidence, professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional customer service skills.

Willing to learn in a fast-paced environment and if not qualified willing to study in conjunction with their day-to-day work
Location – Britton Insurance, Crennan House, Tirchonaill Street, Donegal Town

Hours- Flexible start time of 9 or 9.30am Mon-Fri- until 5pm.

Renumeration – Depending on Experience- Extremely competitive including targeted bonus structure, contributory pension plan and other monetary incentives.

Hybrid Working Model – Hybrid working is open to qualified applicants or those already doing their APA with a minimum of two days per week in the office. Please note that the position is full time on-site until the successful applicant has been fully trained and is able to successfully demonstrate the ability to work from home on their own accord.

PART TIME available to those qualified or already within the industry – options of 3 or 4 day week with minimum 1 day per week in the office.
