A young woman who died following a single-vehicle crash in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh on Monday night has been named.

Amy Stokes, 20, from Ballyconnell, Co Cavan, was a passenger in the car which crashed on the Ballyconnell Road around 11pm.

The PSNI said a number of other people in the car were taken to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.

Ms Stoke’s family said they are devastated by her death and that she will be sorely missed and have asked for privacy at this time.

Earlier, a man in his 40s was killed in another single-vehicle crash involving a lorry in Beragh, Co Tyrone, on Monday morning.

The lorry driver was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash in the Moylagh Road area shortly after 7.50am.

Detectives investigating the circumstances of both incidents have appealed to anyone with information about what happened, or dashcam footage, to contact them.
