Derry and Shelbourne paired in FAI Cup quarter-finals

The Premier Division’s top two clubs will meet in the quarter-finals of the Sports Direct FAI Cup.

Derry City is set to host leaders Shelbourne at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium on Wednesday, September 14.

In a repeat of the 2022 final, Shels will look for revenge against the Candystripes in what is the mouth-watering tie of the round.

UCD will face Bohemians after they shocked Sligo Rovers in the last round. The Gypsies will be wary of the Students having just squeezed past another First Division side in Kerry FC at the weekend.

Athlone Town will also be eyeing another Premier scalp as bottom side Drogheda United travel to the midlands.

There is guaranteed to be a First Division side in the semi-finals, with Wexford hosting Treaty United.

The ties will be played from September 13-15.

UCD v Bohemians

Wexford FC v Treaty United

Derry City v Shelbourne
