Louisa Jane Crawford has sadly died following a collision in Co Derry

Police say a woman has sadly died following a collision in Co Derry at the weekend.

26 year old Louisa Jane Crawford, a mother-of-one from Garvagh, was the driver of a black BMW which collided with a lorry.

The collision happened on the Glenkeen Road, Aghadowey, at around 3.20 am on Saturday morning, June 8.

Officers investigating the circumstances of the crash are asking for witnesses and anyone who may have captured dashcam or other footage, to please get in touch with the Collision Investigation Unit by calling 101, quoting reference 206 of 08/06/24.

Tributes have been paid to Louisa Jane since her tragic passing.

One friend said that they were “completely lost for words” and described Ms Crawford as “such a loving, caring person that would do anything for anyone”.

“You always smiled and made everyone’s day so much better.

“You will be missed by so many and I will cherish every memory we had and all the laughs – until we meet again,” they added.
