AwakenHub and North West Regional College (NWRC) have launched an exciting new collaboration, inviting women affiliated with the college—including current students, staff, alumni, and founders who have utilised the NWRC Business Support Centre—to apply for a sponsored annual membership to AwakenClub.

This exclusive opportunity offers access to a thriving island-wide community of like-minded women founders at various stages of their business journey.

Regardless of sector, background, or age, all women entrepreneurs are encouraged to seize this chance to join AwakenHub's private online women founder community.

Membership benefits include participation in community events, weekly drop-in sessions, Big Sister mentoring, insights into the investment landscape, and a wealth of resources tailored specifically to women entrepreneurs.

The call for applications will open April 30th and close on May 28th, 2024.

A pre-application information session will take place online on Wed 15th May at 7pm.

NWRC views this partnership as a crucial step in addressing the unique challenges women encounter in business, fostering a more inclusive and supportive ecosystem for their ventures.

Through this collaboration, the college and AwakenHub aim to drive greater economic growth, innovation, and opportunity in the North West Cross Border region.

Sinead Hawkins, NWRC Business Skills Manager said: “As part of NWRC's ongoing dedication to fostering economic growth in the NW region, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with AwakenHub.

“Together, we aim to empower women-led businesses in the North West. We commend AwakenHub for their impactful efforts in bolstering the entrepreneurial landscape in Ireland. Our collaboration signifies our commitment to
nurture and empower more women to establish and expand their ventures.

“By providing essential support, networks, and access, we aim to assist women founders in starting, growing, securing funding, and scaling their enterprises locally and globally, while firmly anchoring them in the NW region.”

Clare McGee, AwakenHub Co-founder and CEO said: “AwakenHub is thrilled to announce the inclusion of NWRC as our esteemed partner. We are looking forward to discovering a fresh wave of talented NWRC connected women founders, extending them a warm invitation to join our vibrant AwakenHub founder community.

“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey, as we continue to expand our community and empower women entrepreneurs to thrive and excel.

“Together with NWRC, we look forward to unlocking new avenues of innovation and growth, driving
positive change in the entrepreneurial landscape.”
