A 21-year-old man arrested by police in Derry on Thursday evening March 21, after failing to stop for officers on the Clooney Road dual carriageway, has been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
The man had been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving without insurance, no driving licence, failing to stop for police and possession of a Class A controlled drug.
Enquiries are continuing, and anyone who may have witnessed what happened, or captured any footage, is asked to contact officers on 101, quoting reference 2076 of 21/03/24 or, make a report online via https://www.psni.police.uk/report.
