Police say missing Matthew De La Torre has now found safe.
Police Derry City and Strabane said Matthew was visiting the city from the USA.
It now says: “Ghe missing person from the USA we had previously posted about has now been located safe and well.
“Thank you all for the likes, comments and shares – all of which give our appeals fantastic reach.”
