Ireland’s number-one Indian restaurant still has the winning combination as they continue to pick up national awards in their second decade in business.

Chandpur in Donegal Town has added the title of Best Curry Restaurant In Ireland to its vast list of awards.

Delicious dishes from around the world and dedicated service keep the customers coming back for more and keep the accolades coming in!

The Chandpur team remain very proud to run their restaurant in Donegal Town and appreciate the never-ending loyalty of their customers, whether it be the locals who visit them regularly or the visitors from far and wide who enter their doors, they will always be offered the warmest of welcomes.

The awards for 2023 started in January with their 7th Gold Star in a row from the renowned Lucinda O Sullivan.

In February they went to Athlone for the Irish Takeaway Awards from the very prestigious Yes Chef Team and were awarded for the 3rd Year in a row the Title of Indian Takeaway of the Year for both All Ireland and Ulster.

In March, in Monaghan, it was the Regional Awards for The Restaurant Association of Ireland and they won the Award for Best Free From, sending them to the finals in Dublin.

A week later they headed to the Clayton Hotel in Dublin for the biggest Hospitality Awards of the year. The Food Oscars from the Restaurant Association of Ireland with over 1200 guests in attendance Chandpur won the Ulster Title of Best Free From. This award is very special due to the fact that so many customers now present with allergies or lifestyle changes and Chandpur has adapted their dishes to cater for these guests. Whether you are a vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, nut free, dairy free, the list is endless Chandpur will be able to cater for you due to the fact they cook all their dishes from scratch using no additives or preservatives. Taking advice and being a member of the Vegan society of Ireland, this has helped them immensely too.

In June they once again attended the Crown Plaza in Dublin and it was the Irish Hospitality Awards. Chandpur won the title of Restaurant of the Year 2023. This however was not an Indian category but was every restaurant and it was the 2nd Year in Row they have won this amazing award.
