Remains identified as those of murdered Chloe Mitchell

THE PSNI has confirmed that remains found in a wheelie during a search for missing Chloe Mitchell are those of the 21-year-old.

Detective Chief Inspector Richard Millar of the Major Investigation Team said: “The identification process on human remains found in Ballymena on Sunday, June 11, has now concluded and have been confirmed as those of Chloe Mitchell.”

One man has been charged with Chloe’s brutal murder.

A second man has been charged with assisting offenders.

Both remain in custody at the remand unit in Maghaberry Prison.
