Police are currently at the scene of a shooting of a serving PSNI officer.
The murder bid happened on the Killyclogher Road area of Omagh.
The injured policeman has been taken to Altnagelvin Hospital for treatment.
The attack happened at a sports complex just before 8pm this evening.
There are no further details at present.
