Funerals today for three more victims of Creeslough tragedy

The funerals of three more victims of the Creeslough explosion tragedy will take place today.

James O’Flaherty, a native of Australia but who had been living in Dunfanaghy will be buried after funeral mass in Derrybeg at 11am.

His funeral will be followed this afternoon by the funerals of mother and son Catherine O’Donnell, aged 39, and her loving son James Monaghan, aged just 13.

Today’s funerals following yesterday’s heartbreaking scenes in Creeslough when the first two victims of the tragedy were buried.

Jessica Gallagher, the 24 year old fashion designer took place at St Michael’s Church at 11am.

Just a short time later the second victim, Martin McGill, aged 48, was laid to rest following his funeral mass in the same church.

During last nights Champions League Group F match against RB Leipzig, Celtic FC players wore black armbands for devoted fan Martin.

The Glasgow club has said it will also donate £10,000 to a fund set up to support the families of the Creeslough tragedy.
