Police in Derry are appealing for both witnesses and victims to contact them following reports of criminal damage to a number of motor vehicles in the Elaghmore Park area of the city in the early hours of this morning, Friday, September 23.

Police Derry City and Strabane say: “We have arrested two males on suspicion of criminal damage and have noted damage to various cars.

“However, as other more people return to their vehicles in daylight, further damage may be discovered.

“If this applies to you, please contact Police at Strand Road by calling 101 and quoting reference 106 of 23/09/22.

“We’re also appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who may have heard or seen a disturbance in the area at around 2am, to get in touch with us.”
