Trust says Altnagelvin ED currently ‘extremely busy’

The Western Health and Social Care Trust reports this evening that Altnagelvin Hospital’s Emergency Department ED is “extremely busy right now”

In a tweet, the Trust says 127 people are in the Emergency Department with a 52 peopleawaiting admission.

“We are urging the public to Phone First if your condition is not an emergency.

“Please call 0300 020 6000 where medical personnel will direct you to the best route of treatment.”
