A 32-year-old man arrested in Derry on suspicion of drugs offences by the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Maydown-based OCB detectives made the arrest as part of a ‘proactive operation’ on Wednesday, July 20.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
As part of the operation, searches were conducted in the Waterside and cityside areas of the city.
A quantity of suspected Class A and Class B drugs was seized along with drug-related paraphernalia.
A number of electronic devices were seized and will now undergo a detailed forensic examination.
