The North West Cancer Centre at Derry ‘s Altnagelvin Hospital received a generous donation of €2,801 euro from Donoughmore National School, Liscooley, Co Donegal.
The money was raised from a Daffodil Day Farm Walk held at Smyth family farm in Lifford.
Over €5,600 was raised and the money was divided between the school and the North West Cancer Centre.
Principal Wendy Long, with parents and pupils of the school, made the presentation to Sr Rachelle McMenamin, Sperrin Unit, North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital.
