SDLP Foyle MLA Sinead McLaughlin

THE SDLP’s Sinéad McLaughlin has announced that she is resuming her constituency surgeries now that most Covid restrictions have been lifted.

The next of her regular surgeries in Creggan will be held this coming Saturday, February 19, from 12 noon to 2pm at the Rath Mor Centre, between Eastway and Blighs Lane.

Said the Foyle MLA: “It is a relief to be getting back to meeting constituents face-to-face.

“I have been increasing the number of doorstep visits in recent weeks, but now that most of the Covid restrictions have been lifted I can get back to holding my regular constituency surgeries.

“I know that it has been frustrating for people to have difficulty in meeting their political representatives, though we have continued to respond to large numbers of phone calls, emails and social media message.

“But nothing compares to speaking directly and we have continued to receive constituents in my Spencer Road office.

“The Rath Mor centre is a great location for people to call in and see me, whether they live in Creggan or anywhere else in the Foyle constituency.”
