She said: “I have met with Housing Executive officials about a range of issues that residents of the Ballymagroarty area have raised with me.
“I was particularly pleased to be reassured that work on the long awaited and badly needed window replacement scheme is to start next month.”
Her party colleague, Foyle MLA Mark H Durkan, added: “This upgrade has been required for a long time now.
“We have lobbied for it and share the frustration of residents that it has taken so long to come to fruition.
“They will be delighted to finally get this work done.
“It will make their homes warmer and reduce the amount of money they have to spend on fuel to heat their homes.
“Schemes like this have environmental benefits as well as economic benefits and we will not tolerate any further delays.”
