TWO members of Clann Na nGael Walk/Jog/Run Club will this Friday, April 23, complete 4 miles, every 4 hours for 48 hours, for two charities close to their hearts.

The Club says: “This is for two great causes and we can’t wait to help and support the boys through their miles during the 48 hours.

“Read their stories on their chosen charities.”

Noel: “I have chosen to run for the Motor Neurone Disease NIcharity.

“For a few years now a family friend has been suffering from motor neurone disease.

“We can see first hand how hard it is on her young family so we would like to try raise awareness off this great charity.”

Niall: “I have chosen to do this challenge for The Home Respiratory Care Team in memory of Mammy.

“This organisation was a real lifeline to both Mammy and our family during her illness.

“The service they provided allowed Mammy to stay at home enjoying time with her family in the final months of her life.”
