POLICE say several people have been arrested after Class A and Class B drugs were seized this week in Derry.
Police Derry City and Strabane say on their Facebook page: “Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team have been busy over the last couple of days on the drugs front.
“This resulted in £6,000 worth of Class B seized along with suspected heroin.
“Too many families in our city know the devastation drugs can cause.
“Our focus will continue to be on getting the drugs off the streets and putting the dealers before the courts.
“Our enquiries into these recent seizures are ongoing and a number of arrests have been made.
“With your support we can continue to keep our communities safe.”
