FOYLE Coaches Northwest Busways Ltd have a vacancy for a qualified/time served mechanic.

Job Purpose:

The Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the fleet vehicles which include Mercedes/Man/Iveco

Essential Criteria:

Minimum of 2 year experience in a similar role

Must be competent to carry out routine inspections

Have fault finding ability

An Advantage but not Essential

Full clean bus driving licence

The ability to carry out diagnostics or be prepared to complete training in diagnostics

Key Tasks Required:

Carrying out inspection/maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and ordering parts

All maintenance/repair work carried out in full and to Health & Safety standards

Recording all relevant details, completing records etc

Using materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner

Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues

Salary:

€31,000 / €35,000 p.a.
