Feile Padraig Barton 5 Aside U14 cancelled

THE annual Feile Padraig Barton 5 Aside U14 has been cancelled over the current virus pandemic.

The competition is organised each year by the Bogside and Brandywell Monument committee.

A spokesperson for the organising committee said: “It’s with great disappointment due to the situation around COVID-19 we have had to cancel this year’s annual Padraig Barton 5 Aside U14 football tournament.

“Each year this tournament is a feature of the Gasyard Féile and over the years it has attracted hundreds of young participants from across the city.

“We ask everyone to continue to stay safe in the times ahead and we will be back next year bigger and better.”
