THERE were no further COVID-19 related deaths recorded by the Department of Health in the North of Ireland over the last 24 hours.

However, a further 15 positive tests for the virus were confirmed.

Two COVID-19 patients are in intensive care, while there are currently nine hospital inpatients, a rise of three from yesterday.

There have been 29 deaths from COVID-19 in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area since the pandemic erupted in March.

Health chiefs continue to urge the public to social distance at two metres as much as possible and wash hands regularly to stop the spread of the virus.
