Rubbish scattered around Jon Clifford Bull Park

“BIN it or take it home” is the plea from Sinn Féin Councillor Patricia Logue to those leaving behind rubbish in Jon Clifford -Bull Park.

Said Cllr Logue: “I was contacted by regular users of the park concerned that in recent days there seems to be an ever-increasing number of plastic bottles being left strewn across green spaces.

“There is absolutely no excuse for this.

“Tthere are a number of rubbish bins in the park and even if people didn’t use the bins, they could take their rubbish home with them.

“This is a great facility right in the heart of the community and the last thing we want to see is it becoming shabby and unkempt and leaving a mess for council workers to clean up.

“Green spaces are at a premium across our city and we need to ensure that we all take care of them.”
