Keep In Touch service launched in Derry for elderly, vulnerable and those living alone

AS a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, many elderly and vulnerable people are having to isolate themselves at home.

It means they may be cut off from the outside world and feeling alone.

Now a new service has been launched in Derry to make sure that they won’t be left totally isolated.

Keep In Touch will ring a lonely, elderly or vulnerable person once a day to make sure they are Ok or if they need any help while at home or even just for a chat.

If you are one of these people or if you know of someone who is elderly, vulnerable or alone, the number to ring is:
02871 78 20 43.

The Keep In Touch Service is completely free.

They will take your landline or mobile number and give you a call once a day.

Please share this among your friends, family and neighbours to make sure the elderly, the vulnerable and those alone can at least receive a phone call once day.

Thank you.
