Foyleside Shopping Centre will celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Tuesday, March 17, with traditional Irish dancing spectacles for shoppers to revel in.

Shoppers can experience a traditional Irish welcome in the Centre with Irish dancing and music throughout the day.

Between 12 noon-1 pm, the talented Cullen School of Dance will kick-off the celebrations in the Centre.

The City Centre Carnival Parade commences at 2pm and then, from 3-4pm, the acclaimed seven-time Ulster champion Christina Deery’s Irish Dance Academy will keep the St Patrick’s Day spirit (and the kicks!) high.

Fergal Rafferty, Centre Manager of Foyleside, said: “Foyleside during St Patrick’s Day is always a special time, and what better way to celebrate this momentous day than with traditional Irish dancing and music! St Patrick’s Day always brings a great buzz to Derry – therefore shining a spotlight on these talented local dancers for shoppers to appreciate and enjoy is a wonderful way to honour the day.”

With over 50 big brand stores, convenient parking and a warm family-friendly atmosphere, Foyleside is the perfect place to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
