Mayor hosts Guildhall reception for Galaxy All Stars

MAYOR of Derry City and Strabane District Council has hosted a reception at the Guildhall for the North West’s best cheerleading dance troupe, the Galazy All Stars.

Mayor Michaela Boyle hosted the reception accompanied by deputy mayor Cara Hunter.

The reception an acknowledgement of the troupe’s huge achievement in representing the North of Ireland in the forthcoming World Championships.

Said Mayor Michaela Boyle: “I was delighted to host a mayor’s reception for the fantastic girls from Galaxy All Stars Cheer leading troupe and Hip Hop dancers.

“These girls are off to Florida in April to represent NI in the World Championships.

“Well done to all the girls and their coaches.”
