Police in Derry appealing for witnesses after a man was viciously assaulted in the city last weekend.
Police Derry City and Strabane say: “Were you on Orchard Street in the city centre on Sunday night, 4 May, at around 10.30pm?
“Did you witness an assault on a man who was walking in this area when a male, who was with a number of other people, punched him, knocking him unconscious.
“The victim sustained facial injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information or footage which may assist the investigation is asked to call 101, quoting reference 826 08/05/25
