MOTORISTS are being advised to avoid the Springtown Road in Derry this morning following a crash.
Sinn Fein Councillor Mickey Cooper posted about the incident on Facebook.
He wrote: “Folks this car crashed in the last hour and is half blocking the Springtown Road beside top of Norburgh Park.
“Police are arranging removal in next hour.
“I have arranged for Roads Service to repair the damaged traffic island.
“In meantime avoid area if possible as recovery of the vehicle may create further disruption.
“I will keep you posted.”
