Two bottles of bubbles to be won in raffle

A hair salon in Derry is offering the public the chance to buy a raffle ticket and win a massive hamper worth £650 worth of goodies!

Tanya’s Hair and Beauty are running the Christmas raffe in aid of DEEDS which is a dementia charity run from the OLT in Creggan.

Beth Ní Ágáin told us: “We are running the hamper raffle in our salon at Carnhill.

“This is a very personal cause but we know there are hundreds of families that are affected by dementia in some way in this town.

“We want to raise as much money for DEEDS and we want to spread the word across Derry about our Christmas raffle with the chance to win EVERYTHING in our Hamper!”

Added Beth: “Our Hamper is in aid of DEEDS – Dementia Engaged and Empowered in Derry & Strabane.

“They do amazing work for those in our own city who are affected by Dementia (including Alzheimer’s).

“This is an extremely important cause for us personally as our mum/granny is currently living with Alzheimer’s, our father/granda being her carer.

“We have seen first hand what the sufferers and their families have to go through on a day to day basis and we see how important support groups like DEEDS are!

“To buy tickets call into the salon which is situated in Carnhill or contact 07752 654 041 for more info.

“Let’s raise a brilliant amount for an amazing group.

“Thanks so much to everyone who donated and has helped in any way.”

The raffle closes soon and tickets are being drawn on Saturday, December 14.

So get buying and help such a worth cause!
