CAROL Hutchinson has repaid the tremendous treatment she received at Altnagelvin hospital for cancer by raising vital funds with a feast of bakes at a coffee morning.
The Western Trust said staff were delighted to receive a cheque for £3,100 from Carol and her twin Ivan.
A Trust spokesperson said: “Our Oncology and Breast screening departments at Altnagelvin received a very generous donation of £3,100 from Carol Hutchinson.
“Carol, and her twin Ivan, baked dozens of scones and hosted a coffee morning to raise the funds in acknowledgment of the care and treatment Carol received at the hospital.
“Carol and her family – Colin, Lesley, Ivan and Sarah – made the presentation to Dr Mazdai, Oonagh Leitch and Mr Thompson.”
