“Great ambassadors for Derry and Strabane.”

Foyle Down Syndrome Trust said: “Our 20+ age group had the pleasure of being hosted by our Mayor Cllr John Boyle!

“He held a special reception in the Mayor’s parlour to celebrate the group’s success in London through YouthAction Northern Ireland’s Beacon project.

“The group recently beat 170 other groups from across the UK to win the UK Youth Money For Life Community Challenge finals with their “Money Mentors” project to help young people living with a disability to manage their money.

“Thanks to The Playtrail young people for working with us and Derry City & Strabane District Council for their support throughout.”
