A 32-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He is due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday, March 25.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to the report of an assault on a 23-year-old man on Thursday, March 21, in the Glenbeg Walk area of Limavady.
The victim was taken to hospital where his condition was described as critical.
