MAYOR of Derry and Strabane Councillor John Boyle has congratulated Derry Girls and writer Lisa Magee on two more possible awards.
They have received nominations from the Royal Television Society for Best Comedy and Best Comedy Writer.
“Well done and very well deserved,” says Mayor Boyle.
“I am looking forward to the first episode of Season 2 airing on Channel 4 tonight.”
The new series kicks off at 9.15 pm.
