POLICE have appealed for information about a number of incidents over the weekend in Derry.

One incident involves a number of males driving around in a saloon car with what police believe was a sword.

In a second incident, a male was said to have been involved in a criminal damage incident armed with a crowbar.

A police officer posted on PSNI Foyle Facebook today: “I’m throwing out a couple of appeals for info here.

“These are unrelated but it would be good to catch these people.

“Reports yesterday of a Blue Ford Mondeo in Earhart Park.

“Four males on board one possibly with a sword. That’s a car we want to stop!!! Send us a PM if you know anything about it.

“There was also criminal damage in the Fallowlea Park area on Saturday, February 16, between the hours of 3 pm to 5 pm.

“We want to speak with anybody who observed a suspicious male with a Crowbar.

“Ring 101 and quote reference CC855 of 16/2/19.”
