Police probe social media video posting of ‘attack’ on lorry driver in Derry

POLICE in Derry are investigating the contents of a video circulating on social media of an alleged assault on a lorry driver.

They have appealed for anyone with information about the incident in the Shantallow area to come forward.

PSNI Foyle say: “Police are aware of a video doing the rounds on social media.

“The video is of an incident involving a male apparently attacking the driver of a heavy goods vehicle at what appears to be Bradleys Pass.

“If you have any information in relation to this, or it involves you, please contact Police on 101 quoting reference number RM 19002843”
