Pedestrian seriously ill after being struck by 4 X 4 vehicle

POLICE are appealing for information over a crash in which left a 71-year-old pedestrian with serious injuries.

The pensioner was hit by a black Nissan Navara on Coleraine Street in Kilrea Co Derry at around 9 am on Wednesday, December 19.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “If you were in the area close to Shields Chemists and witnessed the collision, or have any relevant Dash Cam footage or CCTV, then please contact police on 101 and quote reference number 25.”
