Leah Totton assaulted by man at Co Cavan wedding

DERRY born Apprentice winner Leah Totton is recovering from an assault at a wedding on Saturday.

Gardai were called to the venue in Co Cavan following reports of an assault on a 30-year-old female.

The young doctor has since been treated for injuries and shock.

A man believed to be well known to Dr Leah, was removed from the scene by uniformed Garda.

A source close to the doctor and businesswoman said: “Leah is in a state of shock and recovering from her injuries.”

Dr Leah had been attending the 5-star Saturday wedding with her then finance.

But on Christmas Day, the successful entrepreneur was with loved ones nursing bruises following the alleged incident.

According to reports, Leah was assaulted and injured and left “sore and very, very shocked”.

It is understood she was with her now-ex fiancé at the wedding.

They announced their engagement in October but had been engaged for some months before she posted a picture on her Instagram account of diamond ring.

She said at the time: “My fiance is the most amazing man on the planet, I’m beyond grateful to have him in my life and so excited to become his wife!”

Her representatives are not commenting on the newspaper report.
