Police probe ‘shots fired’ in Derry

THE PSNI in Derry say detectives are investigating reports of shorts being fired last night.

A spokesperson said: “At around 9:30 PM on Thursday, September 20, police received several reports from members of the public that a number of shots had been heard in the area of Clon Elagh in the city.

“Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Police on 101 and quote CCS 1309 – 20/09/18.

“You can also contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
