Search ongoing on River Foyle after man spotted entering the water

THE emergency and rescue services currently involved in a search operation of the River Foyle after reports a man was spotted entering the water.

PSNI Foyle say: “At around 11 am this morning, we received a report of a male seen entering the water in the Craigavon Bridge area of Derry.

“We are presently in attendance and are involved in an ongoing search operation with our colleagues from NIFRS, NIAS and Foyle Search & Rescue.
