PSNI officers in Derry have issued a picture of this man as part of Op Exposure in the hope somebody across the North West can help identify him.

It relates to an incident over six months ago at a shop in the Foyleside Shopping Centre.

However, because of Data Protection Act regulations, police had to exhaust every other exhaustive avenue before being able to release his image into the public arena.

PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “This is a picture of a male we need to speak to in connection with an incident at the O2 Store, Foyleside Shopping Centre, on 30/01/18.

“I’d like to think if you knew of this fella you’d recognise him from this picture.

“If this is you, get in touch with us.

“Once the persons identity of confirmed this post will be removed.

“You can contact us on a dedicated number by phone or by text on 07584 337367

“Alternatively Private Message through Facebook. DO NOT post names in the comments.

“You can also contact 101 or anonymously through crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
