Offensive graffiti removed from wall in Rosemount

SINN Féin Councillor Mickey Cooper has welcomed the removal of offensive graffiti on a wall in the Rosemount area.

He said: “I was contacted by a number of residents who asked me was there anything I could do to get this offensive graffiti removed from a large wall beside Rosemount Factory.

“I spoke with the Council and asked would it be possible to get this taken off.

“Thankfully they were able to get a team of cleaners in to get it removed.

“As we move forward I would ask people to refrain from putting up graffiti in Rosemount.

“It can be particularly distressing for residents coming of their homes or someone opening up a business in the morning to find that it has been plastered in paint overnight.
