Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox plan summer wedding in Derry, say reports

Wedding bells for Johnny McDaid and actress Courteney Cox as couple plan nuptuals in both Derry and the USA

SNOW Patrol’s Johnny McDaid and his Friends fiancee Courteney Cox are planning a summer wedding in both Derry and Malibu, according to newspaper reports.

And Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston is to be Courteney Cox’s maid of honour when she walks down the aisle.

The actress is helping Friends co-star Courteney organise her summer nuptials to Derry’s Johnny McDaid.

A source told The Mirror: “Courteney and Jennifer are thick as thieves and they have got even closer in recent months.

“Courteney wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle without Jennifer by her side. They have a very strong friendship.”

Jennifer, 49, and Courteney, 53, have been best mates for more than two decades after they both starred in the worldwide hit comedy Friends.

Courteney was chosen to be maid of honour when Jennifer tied the knot with Justin Theroux , 46, in 2015.

Since the couple split in February, Courteney has been Jennifer’s “rock”.

Courteney and Johnny, 41, began dating in 2013 and announced their engagement a year later but separated for four months before reuniting in 2016.

According to The Mirror, the couple plan to say their vows in Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny’s home in Derry.

They will then travel to Malibu, California, to say “I do” at a lavish second ceremony in front of her pals and family on a beach.

The insider added that Courteney was planning a “lavish and ultra posh” do in LA as Johnny prefers a “stylish but simple” one in his home city.

But Courteney wants her maid of honour for both of them to be Jennifer, says The Mirror.

And the wedding singer at both bashes is expected to be Ed Sheeran, who introduced Courteney and Johnny

Courteney is ordering four outfits for her big days – two wedding dresses and two changes of clothes for the receptions.

She is having the outfits made by British designer Jenny Packham, with the others being stitched by celebrity fashion designers Vera Wang and Zuhair Murad.
