Car and handbag stolen in ‘creeper style burglary’

POLICE are appealing for information over what they describe as a “creeper style burglary’.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Sometime between 11 pm on Wednesday 26th April and 8 am on Thursday 27th April a residential property on the Bellspark Road, Strabane, was entered and a vehicle and handbag stolen in a creeper style burglary.

“The stolen vehicle was a Hyundai Tuscan (grey) with registration UHZ 3889.

“Did you see this vehicle or have you saw it since the date in question?

“If you were on the Bellspark Road on Wednesday night and noticed any vehicles acting suspiciously or anything at all which you believe could help us then please call Police on 101 and quote reference 161 26/4/18.”’

Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on freephon 0800 555 111.
