ANOTHER dangerous scrambler has been taken off the roads in Derry.

The owner of the illegal bike legged it when he saw police.

Now police in Derry would like to reunite him with his bike – for a day out in court!

PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “With Austerity biting it’s harder and harder to get new Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team ‍♂ Police Cars so. . . let me introduce you to the newest NPT vehicle!

“We are calling it “Intercepter 01”. Couple of blue lights bit of luminous yellow and she’ll be ready to rock.

“On a serious note we saw a fella hanging around outside St Eithne’s Primary School on this before we got it in Ballymac.

“Driver was last seen sprinting through Ballymac in a white motorbike helmet (I hope he didn’t run into a tree  )

If you know who owns this illegal bike, ring police on the 101 number or you can pass his name to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
