Picture special as Derry’s Coralmount luxury homes unveiled

INVITED guests were among the first people to see inside Northern Ireland’s most luxurious designer home development today – right here in Derry.
Coralmount on the Limavady Road in the Waterside is an exclusive gated development of just six homes, designed and built by The Designer Builder Taggart Homes.
The incredible homes have already received enquiries from all over Ireland, the UK, the USA and the Middle East.
The homes are the latest offering from bounce-back businessman Michael Taggart.
Mr Taggart (51) is strategic adviser to The Designer Builder – Taggart Homes and has helped to oversee the construction and sale of 300 designer homes in the North West since 2015. Another 200 homes are under design and/or construction.
But it’s perhaps the North’s most luxurious development in a city reinventing itself as a major tourist destination and centre for innovation which is attracting interest far and wide.
The gated development at Coralmount on the Limavady Road in Derry’s Waterside is the last word in luxury across six properties, complete with pergolas, orangeries and coppered canopies.
The site was officially launched today with interested house-hunters travelling from far and wide.
“These homes are very special and are certainly creating a buzz, that’s for sure,” said Michael Taggart.
“There is a real sense that Derry is on a new trajectory now and it’s a very positive one. People are getting on with their lives now and there’s a real ‘can do’ spirit about the place.
“Coralmount is a real statement about where the city is at now and more importantly where it is headed. I’m very confident these homes will sell very quickly.
“Designing beautiful homes has always been my passion. Coralmount represents our greatest and most luxurious project to date.
“This new gated community of six stunning residences represents years of experience in the building industry and draws from ideas gathered around the globe.
“Our craftsmen bought into my concept from the beginning, to turn design ideas into stunning homes you just have to love. And I love what we’ve done here at Coralmount.
“Materials from here in Ireland, from Spain, China, Italy, England and beyond have been sculpted and honed into what can be seen today.
“Pergolas, garden rooms, hand-cut cobbles and copper canopies create a wonderful feeling of well-being outside.
“The feeling inside Northern Ireland’s most luxurious development is elevated to a whole new level with the finest materials, gold chandeliers, Italian marble, Irish wood panelling. The finish is exceptional.
“The dedication to designer homes, built with care and attention and quality, is the cornerstone of what we do at Taggart Homes at all of our sites.
And Coralmount is something very very special.”
Taggart Homes Director Nicolas Taggart says the whole team at the company have enjoyed this particular project.
“Every single person enjoyed working on this because you could see it grow from a derelict site into this beautiful gated home overlooking the Foyle and the Foyle Bridge,” said Nicolas.
“There’s simply nothing like it in this country. It’s a real stand-out development.
“But we have more to do elsewhere in the city too over the next few weeks with eight new showhouses being finished at our sites at Barley Fields in Culmore and Oak Country Manor at Crescent Link.”
